October in Jordan: Events Worth Your Time as a Small Business Owner

Running a small business can make every invitation feel like one more thing to fit into your week. A workshop, an exhibition, a networking event… which ones deserve your time?

Start with what your business needs. New customers? A supplier? Better business knowledge? A conversation with someone who understands your challenges?

Here are three October events in Jordan to consider, with different reasons to attend.

Amman Design Week | 2–17 October 2026

For designers, artisans and creative businesses, Amman Design Week offers a chance to explore design and discover other people working in the field. Local shoppers can also use it to get closer to Jordan’s creative scene.

If you make products, pay attention to how work is presented. What makes you stop? Which descriptions help you understand a piece? What could you improve in your own display or product story?

Choose the sessions and locations that suit your interests using the official programme. Exhibition access does not automatically include every workshop or activity.

Startup Alley | 19 October 2026 | German Jordanian University

Organised by Startup Grind Amman and German Jordanian University, in collaboration with Parachute16, Startup Alley brings founders together with investors, industry representatives and other members of the startup community.

This is most relevant if you are developing a startup, exploring partnerships or trying to understand investment. A small retail or handmade business should check the programme before deciding whether it matches its needs.

Prepare a simple introduction: what you do, who you serve and what you are looking for. Check registration and any participation charges through the organiser.

JOPAL EXPO | 28–31 October 2026 | Mecca Mall, Amman

The Jordan–Palestine Exhibition is announced at the Jordan International Exhibition Center at Mecca Mall. Its focus is trade, investment and partnerships between Jordanian and Palestinian businesses.

Consider visiting if you are exploring suppliers, distribution or business customers. Exhibiting is a separate decision: request the fees, sector list and participation conditions before committing.

Give your visit a purpose

Choose one event and one goal. Afterwards, follow up with the people you met and write down one action you can take.

VB Network’s approach to business connections is simple: a useful conversation matters more than a long contact list. For small businesses in Jordan, the value of an event often begins with what happens after it.

Event details may change. Confirm dates, venue, registration and costs directly with each organiser before attending.
